給食センター前の道路は、昔浅くて綺麗な川だったという話を聞きました。水害があり現在は埋め立てられて舗装された道路となっていますが、自然豊かな時代があったことを教えてもらいました。おいかわやウグイ、どろまん、ほんどじょうなど川魚が多く、手づかみして遊んでいた風景です。
