小学校高学年のころ、シラウオをあみでとったり、ワカサギやモロコをつったりしたそうです。三方湖でコイやフナをつったこともあるそうです。その魚は、お母さんやおばあちゃんが料理してくれたそうです。お父さんは、シラウオが大好きだと言っていました。
